Important information - Upcoming maintenance: The CII will be undertaking work on our IT systems throughout the entire weekend of 12-14 October, as part of our strategy to better support our members and customers. The work will mean that during this time there will be no access to the CII/PFS/SMP websites and learners will be unable to take exams, access RevisionMate, or make purchases on these days. We have spoken to all those who have booked to sit an exam on these days to advise them of what action they need to take. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Chartered

Chartered status is a symbol of commitment to professional standards and demonstrates to consumers, employers and peers that you're at the forefront of your profession and put ongoing professional development and trust at the heart of everything you do.

As a Chartered professional body of more than 100 years, the Chartered Insurance Institute – supported by its Societies – grants Chartered titles to individuals and organisations that meet qualifying criteria. Over 20,000 individual members and more than 750 firms have met this standard and hold the status of Chartered professionals.

Individual

Attaining Chartered status is challenging and takes commitment, but it's achievable. Once attained, the status not only changes the way people respond to you, it places you amongst the top professionals within your field. Join online today.

Corporate

There are many excellent insurers, brokers and financial planners that are not Chartered, however corporate Chartered status involves a public declaration to professional standards. The declaration contains a series of commitments made openly, transparently, and in full view of customers and clients. Find out more.
