Find the right membership level and join

Whatever your ambitions, becoming a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute gives you the opportunity to shape your career the way you want, at your own pace. Membership is open to anyone working in or connected to insurance, and fees start from just over £7 per month (£84 a year) for Ordinary level membership.


For holders of our Award qualification and those studying for their first qualification with us, or those interested in enjoying the benefits of membership.


For holders of Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate level qualifications.


For holders of our Diploma in Insurance.


For holders of the Chartered Insurance Institute Advanced Diploma in Insurance.


For holders of Chartered Insurance Institute Fellowship, our highest membership level.


For holders of our Advanced Diploma or Fellowship with at least five years' sector experience (not necessarily post qualification).
