When you become a member of the CII in the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, you also become a member of a local institute, usually close to where you live or work.

Many of our members outside the UK are also members of an insurance institute affiliated or associated to the CII. The relationship between these bodies is typically based on mutual recognition of each others' qualifications, wherever possible, thereby avoiding duplication of learning. The aim is to work collaboratively for the benefit of our members.
