Hong Kong Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE)

This example illustrates a typical route to CII qualifications and professional designations for holders of the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE).

 

Chen has recently passed the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) and wants to build this into CII's internationally-recognised Level 3 Certificate in Insurance.

By using the RPL eligibility checker she discovers that she could receive and exemption from the core (WH1) Award in General insurance unit.

Level 3 Certificate in Insurance

To complete this CII qualification, she purchases her next units from the CII website:

When she passes both these units, she completes the CII Level 3 Certificate in Insurance. She views her passes on her CII learning statement and accesses her qualification certificate within her CII dashboard.

As a CII member, she is eligible to use the Cert CII within her email signatures.

Level 4 Diploma in Insurance and Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Insurance

Chen decides to progress to the CII Level 4 Diploma in Insurance and Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Insurance, upgrading her Cert CII designation to Dip CII, then ACII and applying for the CII Chartered Insurer title.
