The aim of this online Training Programme is to support students through their qualification journey to achieving the Certificate in Insurance.
The Certificate in Insurance is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the profession, developing core knowledge.
The Training Programme is designed to help you feel more prepared for your CII Certificate in Insurance exams.
The content of the Training Programme will cover the key areas of the syllabus and areas likely to be tested and will also provide an interactive opportunity to ask your Trainer questions.
There will also be a focus on sample questions with clear debriefs to aid understanding.
The Broking Training Programme will cover the below units:
- IF1 - Insurance, Legal & Regulatory
- IF2 - General Insurance Business
- I10 - Insurance Broking Fundamentals
The Insurance Claims and Underwriting Training Programme will cover the below units:
- IF1 - Insurance, Legal & Regulatory
- IF3 - Insurance Underwriting Process
- IF4 - Insurance Claims Handling Process

Trainer: Your trainer is highly experienced and qualified in the subject matter, and as importantly, in how to deliver an effective and productive online training session, ensuring all candidates are fully engaged to maximise the learning experience.

Programme Objectives
The aim of this Training Programme is to provide support and to aid understanding of the subject matter for the associated units within the qualification pathway.
By participating in this Certificate in Insurance Qualifications Training Programme, Delegates will be able to:
- describe the main principles within the framework;
- identify the right techniques to use in the CII examinations; and
- apply the knowledge gained
The training sessions are designed to help develop exam technique and knowledge in order to pass the exams, in order to achieve the Certificate in Insurance qualification.
Delegates must ensure they can access the workshop online via both platforms (MS Teams and GoToWebinar).
Each unit will require self-directed study each week. The facilitated training sessions are in addition to the student’s investment of their own study time.
*This training programme does NOT include the cost of the associated unit enrolment, exam sitting or other support materials*
Students must ensure that they enrol on to the individual units and book the relevant exams for each unit with the CII during the period in between each unit transition (gap), within the Training Programme.
Participants or their employer are expected to pay for associated exams / Enrolment at a separate cost to this Training Programme.

Who should attend?
The Certificate in Insurance Training Programme is open to anyone looking to achieve their Certificate in Insurance Qualification (Level 3).
The aim of this Training Programme is to provide structured Training for students to progress towards qualification, with facilitated online training sessions and support.
Each Cohort will consist of no more than 25 Delegates. This will allow for engaging sessions, with good levels of interaction and participation between the Trainer and the Delegates.
