CII Middle East / North Africa

The CII maintains a strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa, and continues to work closely with regional partners and leading regulators.

We work with both local and international companies, with local regulators and authorities across the region to introduce professional development programmes for people working in the insurance and financial planning markets. These programmes are tailored to include international regulatory best practice & to provide a benchmark standard of knowledge for personnel across the region.

  • We provide International qualifications to support the needs of the sector that have been developed with input from market experts to ensure our qualifications are up to date and supporting the needs of individuals, employers and regulators.
  • We have developed the Principles of the CII's Takaful exam unit. This unit can be used by candidates across the world to achieve the CII's Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
  • We continue to strengthen our presence across the region through accreditation of qualifications and training from providers throughout the region, such as the BIBF in Bahrain, the College of Banking and Financial Studies in Oman, the Egyptian Insurance Institute, the Institute of Bankers in Riyadh, the Lebanese German University, the Qatar Finance and Business Academy and the Turkish Insurance Institute to name a few.
  • We have a close relationship with the Financial Services Institute (FSI) in Egypt.  FSI is affiliated to and acts as the training and research arm of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA). FSI is a leading education and training provider serving non-banking regulators and market players both in Egypt and the wider MENA region.
