Zulfiqar Ali Khan FCII

Zulfiqar became aware of the Chartered Insurance Institute from an early age by seeing his father reach ACII and then FCII status which sparked his interest in the insurance sector and the importance of professionalism and ethics.
Following completion of an MSc in Banking and Finance with academic honour in 2005, he joined one of Pakistan’s largest insurers, EFU General Insurance Ltd, as Deputy Manager. He is now Executive Vice President, overseeing all areas of their general insurance operations. During his career Zulfiqar has always been proactive in promoting study towards CII qualifications.
Zulfiqar has held many other positions outside of his main job which include being a CII expert practitioner, a national insurance ambassador of the Lahore Insurance Institute and a visiting faculty member of several education institutions within Pakistan.
