Nigel Taylor ACII
Nigel started his insurance career in 2002 as an in-house legal advisor to trade credit insurer. He joined a prominent Lloyd’s managing agent as a claims adjuster, gaining experience of direct and reinsurance claims across several classes of business, including professional and financial lines, general casualty, marine and energy liability, aerospace, terrorism and political risks.
Prior to relocating to Hong Kong in 2009, Nigel was employed by the Corporation of Lloyd’s Franchise Performance Directorate in a market supervision and corporate governance role.
During his time in Asia, Nigel has fulfilled various regional claims director roles, each having technical oversight of complex claims portfolios, and with responsibility for the planning and development of claims services across different markets across Asia.
Nigel obtained an honours degree in law from the London School of Economics in 1999 and was Called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 2001. He achieved the ACII qualification in 2008.
