The learning benchmark for advisers across the global market place

Designed for non-UK Financial Advisers and Insurance Agents working within the Banking sector, the Award provides solid grounding in the core financial, life assurance and insurance products. It offers guidance on what constitutes professional practice, providing a framework for ethical behaviour. 

This qualification is not regulated. Unregulated qualifications are not Ofqual recognised and will not show on Ofqual’s list of regulated qualifications. However, all qualifications offered by the CII whether regulated or unregulated, are developed and delivered using the same processes, industry experts and standards.

Who’s it for?

The Award is suitable for anyone working outside the UK in the insurance and financial services sector, irrespective of educational background or experience. Particularly, Financial Advisers and Insurance Agents working in the Banking sector and operating in either a regulated or non-regulated environment.

Before studying, check to see whether any of your previous academic qualifications or credits from other professional bodies and institutes can be carried towards completion of the Award.

Award level units are assessed by multiple-choice question exam (MCQ). For online MCQ exams, result notification is immediate on completion.

Qualification units are delivered through purchasing an Enrolment, equipping you with the essential materials to support core learning. For a single fee, an Enrolment typically includes: study text, assessment and access to RevisionMate, our online study tool.
