I've been working in insurance and financial services for 36 years, primarily within the financial advice sector supporting advisers to help them grow their businesses. Having worked with IFAs in tied distribution and the banking sector, I joined the CII with a brief to develop its corporate and market relationships and support financial services firms through the transition of the Retail Distribution Review. I’m a football follower and fan of Coventry City. I’ve always favoured a 4-4-2 formation although that is a bit old fashioned! I enjoy cooking, ideally involving chilli (the fruit, not the meat dish). I own three guitars but can’t play any of them, along with a piano which I also cannot play!
