CII and PFS Apprenticeship Awards 2024
The 2024 CII and PFS Apprenticeship Awards took place on 21 November at The Insurance Hall.

Insurance Practitioner Apprentice of the Year
The apprentices in this category successfully completed the CII Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship, including the CII Certificate in Insurance.
The judges noted that the winner was an excellent role model, taking the initiative to support both business development and personal objectives.

Insurance Professional Apprentice of the Year
The apprentices in this category successfully completed the CII Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeship, including the CII Diploma in Insurance.
Our judges commented that the winner made significant contributions to the company and to the profile of insurance as a career, and was a driver for change and improvements in their employer by implementing innovative solutions.

Senior Insurance Professional Apprentice of the Year
The apprentices in this category successfully completed the CII Level 6 Senior Insurance Professional Apprenticeship, including the CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
The judges commented that this was a fine example of the success of the apprenticeship scheme. The judges awarded highly commended because this person showed excellent achievements in learning and development, and their contribution to the company success was clear. They demonstrated that they see the wider strategic picture and has great potential for a long career.

Financial Adviser Apprentice of the Year
The apprentices in this category successfully completed the Level 4 Financial Adviser Apprenticeship including CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
The judges said that the winner is clearly a strong asset to the company and industry. He has shown great commitment to studies and has great awareness of his values and position within the industry, making substantial contributions through cost-saving measures, process improvements, and enhancing client service standards. His efforts in mentoring, compliance management, and driving new initiatives have led to improved efficiency and organisational growth.

These awards recognise employers who have put CII/PFS apprenticeships at the heart of their business and reaped the benefits. We have a category winner for both small and large employers.

The judges awarded this company Highly Commended and talked about how their programme is clearly helping to solve the problem of a lack of new talent into the industry, and helping to identify future leaders. Overall the company displays a forward looking apprenticeship programme and open to learning.
