Simon Lewis
Simon joined the Board in January 2026 and chairs the Nominations & Remuneration Committee.
He brings three main areas of experience and capability. First, he is the Chair of UK Anti-Doping and has (or has recently had) a number of other relevant board-level roles: within workplace relations, professional regulation, higher education, healthcare, sports governance, and corporate charity.
Second, he has (or has recently had) a number of independent regulatory roles across various sectors: within sports, healthcare, finance/business, and higher education.
Third, he sits as a part-time judge (including within the field of regulation) and has practised extensively as a barrister (having specialised in relevant areas such as employment, equality, professional regulation, and public law).
He has a first-class degree from the University of Cambridge and lives in Yorkshire.
