Debbie Mitchell, Deputy President.
Debbie Mitchell is managing director of Aberdeen based financial planning firm, Atholl Scott Financial Services, where she has been at the helm for over 20 years. Before joining the firm, Debbie worked with Bowring Financial Services, part of the Marsh group, and had an excellent technical grounding during five years with Scottish Amicable.
She has been involved with the Insurance Institute of Aberdeen since 2008 and served as its first female President from 2011 to 2013. She is a past Chair of the North Scotland Region Personal Finance Society and in 2016 was elected to the CII Representative Council and now serves on the Local Institute National Forum.
Debbie is married and mum to Sam, and in her limited spare time is learning to play the piano and is a sometimes reluctant new runner
