Mathew Mallett has decided to leave his role as Executive Director, Digital and Information, in order to explore other opportunities beyond the CII.

Mat was appointed in late 2022 and has driven our organisation’s focus on delivering an enhanced member experience through more seamless digital journeys and engagement as part of our five-year Strategic Plan.

Mat said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with the CII. I’m proud to have contributed to the successful delivery and introduction of new technologies that have allowed us to better tailor our customer and member services, and to the achievement of Cyber Essentials+ certification, which recognises the importance we have given to improving digital security during my tenure.”

Matthew Hill said: “Mat has made a real difference for CII and PFS members over the past three years. He has laid strong foundations for our digital ambitions, which are a key theme in our Strategic Plan, and we wish him well for the future.”

The organisation has worked with Mat to ensure he is able to explore live opportunities and he will leave the organisation with immediate effect. The CII will take the opportunity to consider whether there are opportunities to augment our leadership team that will further enhance the ways in which we can serve our members and other aspiring professionals. Mat will also leave his role as a Director on the PFS Board. The CII Group Board recently appointed Ian Callaghan to the PFS Board and it will continue to keep the balance of Institute-appointed Directors on the PFS Board under review.”
