Suzi Rackley, client director at Aston Lark, has joined the Society of Insurance Broking board.

The Society of Insurance Broking (SIB) is a community of practice for insurance broking professionals that aims to raise the levels of professional knowledge and technical competence, and to assist members in their personal career development at all levels of experience.

Mrs Rackley started her insurance career as a relationship manager with 1991 working for a small high street broker as a filing clerk before joining Bowring Marsh McLennan for 4 years and then Chubb Insurance for a further 4 year stint. For the next 5 years she joined Aon Private Clients as Manager of the Relationship Management team looking after our largest HNW clients and finally joined Aston Lark in 2008 to set up a new division of Private Clients based in Hampshire.

Mrs Rackley said: “I am delighted to be joining the CII Society of Insurance Brokers, it’s a great platform for brokers and offers fantastic opportunities to network, improve knowledge and share experiences.  I am particularly looking forward to raising the profile of personal lines, we don’t have a big enough voice in the insurance market as a whole, yet we are in control of protecting our clients most important and valuable assets. What I can offer is an experienced view on how we are perceived and ways we can improve our communication to build better relationships and ensure our clients see us as trusted partners”

Kevin Hancock, Chair of SIB, said “I’m delighted to welcome Suzi onto the Advisory Board of the Society of Insurance Broking. She brings a wealth of broking experience, and significant insights on achieving the best outcomes for clients with demanding and complex needs, particularly in the consumer space. Her knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to raise the levels of professional knowledge and technical competence amongst our members.”
