This two half-day interactive online workshop will provide an introduction to the principles and practice of liability insurance and focuses primarily on employers liability, general/public & products liability insurance from a UK and international perspective.

What will I achieve by attending the workshop?
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to
- Outline how legal liability arises under civil law
- Explain to clients how liability insurance protects them and which types they need to purchase
- Identify what types of claim are covered under employers, public & products liability professional indemnity, and management liability policies
- Describe the meaning of key policy terms found in most liability policies
- Identify common extensions and exclusions found on employers liability, public liability and products liability insurances
- List the types of underwriting information required by liability insurers
- Explain to clients what they should do in the event of a liability claim
