In this two half-days virtual workshop, we provide an overview and an update on Mortgage Advice.
Workshop objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe what a mortgage is and how they are created.
- Identify the varying types of mortgage available
- Compare the different ways mortgages are sold
- Identify the key job roles in mortgages
- Describe the house buying process
- Identify the responsibilities of surveyors
- Describe the legal aspects of property ownership
- Identify the key legal aspects of buying and selling a home and the role of the conveyancer
- Compare the role of the mortgage underwriter with the adviser and outline the regulatory responsibilities with their position.
- Review the future of the mortgage industry in the UK

Method of Delivery
This workshop will be delivered online with a trainer via Zoom, split over two half day sessions on the new dates coming soon. Delegates must ensure they have access to Zoom to join the session.
Certificate
At the end of this course, you will receive a certificate of attendance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
