This one-day interactive face to faceworkshop will provide an insight into Lloyd's and the London insurance market, including a brief history, an overview of the marketplace, the role of the participants, its processes and procedures.
This course includes a 1-hour tour of Lloyd's of London. Lunch and refreshments are included.

Workshop objectives
On completion of the workshop delegates will be able to:
- Outline the history and strengths of the London market
- Identify the types of insurance and reinsurance sold by the London market
- Explain the roles of the Insurance market participants
- Describe the strengths of Lloyd’s and the London market
- Describe the placing and claims processes in Lloyd’s and the insurance market
- Outline planned and possible future developments within the insurance market
Workshop Format
This workshop is to be delivered face to face, over a full day at the CII Offices, London, on 11 June 2024 or 12 September 2024, 09:00 - 16:30 (UK). Please specify which date you would prefer to attend.
The workshop will contain a range of visual aids and interactive exercises to explain and help the participants understand insurance and the market, and a tour of Lloyd's building. Sandwich lunch and refreshments will be included.
