Workshop objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: 

• Describe the way inspection forms an essential part of engineering insurance
• Outline the types of plant and equipment that require inspection
• Identify the kind of things which can go wrong with plant and equipment
• Describe the different engineering insurance coverages available
• Explain how engineering insurance dovetails with other insurances
• Identify which customers may need engineering inspection services or engineering insurance

Who should attend?

Brokers and underwriters who are new to engineering insurance or seeking to consolidate and update their technical knowledge.

Method of delivery

This workshop will be delivered online with a Trainer via Microsoft Teams, over one half day session, new dates coming soon. Delegates must ensure they can access the session through Teams.

Certificate

At the end of this course, you will receive a certificate of attendance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
