Once you've checked your eligibility you'll need to familiarise yourself with our scheme rules before completing your application.
Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details at www.cii.co.uk/mycii
Please do not send us your application form, results transcript and completion certificate by email.
Important application information
We can only process your application where you provide all the required information. If your application is incomplete we will not be able to progress it and you would need to make a new application.
In addition to your signed and dated application form, your application needs to include:
- original or certified copy of your qualification completion (eg graduation) certificate
- original or certified copy of your results transcript or letter from your awarding body confirming your exam passes (view an example results transcript)*
We strongly recommend that you send certified copies because under no circumstances will CII refund applicants' delivery charges or accept liability for any losses caused by lost documentation.
How to certify copies
Only a current CII or Personal Finance Society member, solicitor or public notary can certify your completion certificate as true copies of the originals. Their signature must be handwritten and not photocopied or scanned.
You can visit www.cii.co.uk/membersearch to check whether an individual is a current CII or Personal Finance Society member.

- Record of achievement
- Results notification
