Nicola Stacey, ACII

Nicola Stacey is an Executive Director (SMF23 Role holder) of Chaucer Syndicates Ltd and has been the Group CUO of Chaucer Group since November 2019. She is responsible for Group Underwriting Strategy and Performance.
Chaucer is a specialty underwriting business, providing insurance and reinsurance products to clients, brokers and cover holders. Nicola is responsible for the growth and performance of multiple offices around the world as well as the underwriting across 2 platforms, Lloyd’s (Syndicates 1084 & 1176) and Chaucer Insurance Company.
Nicola has over 35 years of Re(Insurance) experience, becoming ACII accredited in 1989. She has held previous senior leadership positions at Swiss Re and GE Insurance solutions. Immediately, prior to joining Chaucer she was Head of Global P&C UW Risk Management at Swiss Re.
She is currently the Chair of the Chief UW Officer Committee of the LMA.
