The CII Group has published in association with the think tank Reform a major research project examining the financial issues and habits of adults aged 18-34. With limited savings, high debts and low levels of financial capability, this group is known as the IPOD generation (Insecure, Pressurised, Over-taxed and Debt-ridden), and could be at the highest risk in any upcoming economic downturn. |

The CII Group published the findings of its second annual membership skills survey. The findings showed an increase on the 2007 figures of employers reporting technical skills shortages and also an increase in those believing in the improtance of professional qualifications. |
