| Copenhagen: Back from the Brink? A CII special report |
Commentators are saying it’s ‘make or break’. Can a global deal in Copenhagen pull us back from the brink? As the leading professional body for insurance and financial services in the U.K., the CII asked leaders and experts, across the insurance sector and beyond, to share their views on why the Copenhagen talks are so important, and what we should be looking for in an agreement. To read more, including the views of the ABI, BIBA, Forum for the Future, and ClimateWise, please see our CII special report: Copenhagen: Back from the brink?.

| CII CPD Review |
The CII Group has published the summary findings of our first ever Continuing Professional Development (CPD) survey. The survey, undertaken in autumn 2008, attracted responses from over 3,500 General Insurance Faculty members. The key findings will provide an important fact base to inform the CII’s review of CPD requirements going forward, with next steps to include a discussion paper outlining the key issues facing CPD today.
Our aims are to increase the relevance of CPD, help members, employers and the public to see the benefits of undertaking professional development, and increase awareness of the many existing CPD opportunities.
