The CII’s London Market Faculty has teamed up with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office to bring you Project Argus, the counter terrorism workshop for businesses.
The terrorist attacks in London in July 2005 dramatically highlighted the need for businesses of all sizes to plan how they deal with the disruption caused by a major incident.
Project Argus will feature a multi media simulation of an attack where you will be faced with a series of questions and dilemmas to resolve that will provide you with a unique opportunity to learn how to protect your business, and its staff and customers. This learning is not only vital to your own organisation, but will help you advise your customers on their own business continuity plans, and ensure that you are in a position to meet their needs should an attack occur.
- Work directly with experts from the emergency services in understanding their response to an incident, counter terrorism security measures and business continuity
- Increase your awareness on counter terrorism issues
The event will last for about three hours and delivered by Counter Terrorism Security Advisors and hosted by the Chartered Insurance Institute who will charge a minimal fee to cover costs. There is no charge from the Police for this event.
To book this workshop download the booking form and return it to the CII events team.
For pre workshop self briefing, it is recommended that you access two guides produced by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and London First, namely Secure in the knowledge and
Expecting the unexpected.
You can also download both from the www.mi5.gov.uk website.
