David Gittings
CEO - Lloyd's Market Association
David was Director of Regulation at Lloyd's of London from 1995 to 2002, prior to which he held various senior positions at the London Stock Exchange and at the Securities and Futures Authority. He was with Wellington Underwriting Plc as a member of their Executive Committee from 2002 to 2006. David became Chief Executive of the Lloyd's Market Association in December 2006.

Prior to that, he worked for Lloyds of London as Director, Worldwide Markets. He was appointed to that role in December 2000 and was responsible for all Lloyd’s commercial activities outside the UK. |

Dave was promoted to a directorial position within the ILU in 1993 and became Director of Operations following the Institute’s merger with LIRMA to become the IUA in 1998. He took over as Chief Executive of the IUA in March 2005. |
