Advice to CII members on aspects of fraud detection

Fraud costs the insurance industry £1.6bn a year, according to the latest Association of British Insurers (ABI) figures. In July 2006, the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) was formed to provide a cost effective, tactical solution for the detection and prevention of organised, cross industry fraud.

In this series of podcasts for CII members, the IFB head of unit Sue Jones gives advice and guidance on how the industry is combating organised fraud and talks through emerging challenges for all practitioners in claims, underwriting and broking.
