Member Designations

Membership titles you can use

CII membership designations are recognised throughout the global insurance market as indicators of achievement, knowledge and professional aspiration. For many individuals, their CII designation is a prime motivator for membership of the CII.

Members may use a designation - on personal communications such as business cards, stationery, email sign-offs, etc. - after completing a CII qualification. Over 74,000 individuals in more than 150 countries proudly display their designation to distinguish them from the mass of individuals working in insurance. Within the CII qualified community, some 21,000 hold the premier individual title, Chartered status.

CII designations cover the full range of qualifications on offer. In many instances, there are sector or discipline-specific options to enable members to indicate their area of specialism.
