10.30 - The high performing claims operation – The People Perspective

Having the right people in claims is “vital” but the industry still struggles to get the right people because there is a “big shortage of great claims staff”

While it is recognised that there has been recent improvements within claims, such as better technology, reduction in claims costs and a deeper understanding of customer service, claims professionals also believe that there has been a decline in the quality of staff, a simplification of claims jobs and depersonalisation of service.

The panel will discuss what the industry is doing to turn this around.
