Designations and titles

Membership of the CII is open to anyone wholly or mainly employed or engaged in work connected with insurance or financial services.

Those who pass CII qualifications, or other qualifications which the CII accredits, and become members are entitled to use designatory letters which are recognised worldwide. The Personal Finance Society, which is part of the CII Group, confers its own designatory letters, which align with the overall structure of the CII.
