Tax relief & direct debit
The CII is an approved professional body by HM Revenue and Customs. This means that if you pay your CII membership fee from your earnings and live in the UK you can currently claim tax relief at the highest rate of tax you pay.
Tax relief reduces the real cost of your membership. For example, basic rate (22%) taxpayers can save £14.74 on their annual membership fee at Ordinary level and higher rate (40%) taxpayers can save £48.00 on their annual membership fee at Associate level.

Fees shown are applicable from 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2007. Please note for new members a one-off joining fee of £36 is also payable.
