Training design Accredited Trainer undertakes training needs analysis and is able to design training interventions to meet the training needs identified. The training designed should be reflective of the level of Accreditation which is being applied for e.g. Induction. The Accredited Trainer should have an understanding of training evaluation methodology Is able to design high quality training interventions which take into account a range of learning preferences and allow learners to progress through the learning cycle. Training design should allow for effective evaluation. The trainer should be able to demonstrate they have modified training interventions in light of learner feedback and evaluation analysis Is able to design high quality training interventions which take into account a range of learning preferences and allow learners to progress through the learning cycle. Training delivery Accredited trainer is able to deliver training to a high standard, understands the learning process/cycle and can adapt and modify their delivery to reflect different learning preferences. The training being delivered should be reflective of the level of Accreditation which is being applied for e.g. Induction During the training observation the trainer should be able to demonstrate a high standard of training delivery skills, for example ensuring all delegates remain engaged and the training is participative. Trainer Accreditation Fees - UK Fees - 2008

Initial Accreditation total£475
*Annual surveillance fee£125

*This is a separate annual charge.

Please note that both elements of the fee are payable on application. Should the evidence provided in the application be insufficient your application will be unsuccessful and the investigation fee will be refunded.

Should your application proceed to the investigation stage and insufficient evidence be found to support the Accreditation standards your application will be unsuccessful. No refund is available once your application has progressed to the investigation stage regardless of the outcome.

Trainer Accreditation is subject to an annual surveillance process and the annual surveillance fee is payable each year.

Trainer Accreditation is subject to full re-certification after 5 years.
The re-certification fee is £300 in 2008.
