The CII’s Underwriting, Broking and London Market faculties are hosting a keynote event analysing major trends in the underwriting and distribution sectors. Today’s underwriters need new capabilities to manage complex accounts, whilst the distribution model has undergone radical upheaval – and who would bet against further changes?

This is a must-attend event for anyone interested in the future of the insurance market.

Programme Overview

09.45     Keynote
The changing face of underwriting & distribution
Barry Smith, Chief Executive, Fortis Insurance Ltda
Changing dynamics within the general insurance market have blurred the boundaries between underwriters and brokers and changed the way organisations need to think about distribution and other strategic issues. So what is the future for underwriting? What will be the impact on firms and individuals, and how should the market respond?
