MSc Risk Management (GI)

The MSc in Risk Management is designed to provide the skills needed to excel in a role as a Chief Risk Officer, Enterprise Risk Manager, Risk and Insurance Manager, Operational Risk Manager, Risk Analyst, Business Continuity & Crisis Manager or Risk & Governance Officer, within a variety of financial and non-financial organisations and sectors.

You will develop the ability to establish group risk policy and structures for business units, design and review processes for enterprise risk management, develop risk assessment, modelling, measurement and response processes including contingency and business continuity programmes.     

Holders of the CII's Advanced Diploma in Insurance may be given direct entry on this Masters programme, subject to other considerations.

  • Distance learning
  • 7 compulsory units, including a research methods unit
  • 12,000 word dissertation
  • Full-time - 1 year
  • Part-time -2 years

The classroom options usually involves 2 contact hours per week for each module over 12 weeks.
  • UK/EU students - £8,400
  • International students - £12,600

The 2015-16 fees shown apply to the Jan 2016 intake. Fees for the Sep 2016 intake are announced in Spring 2016 and are subject to an annual increase.
