A new qualification has been launched exclusively for the London
market by The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Developed in partnership with the Lloyd's Market Association,
the CII Certificate in London Market Insurance Specialisation has
been designed to develop the candidate's ability to conduct
rigorous insurance or reinsurance related research that contributes
to the body of London Market industry knowledge. Its launch marks a
significant milestone in the support of professionalism within the
London insurance market.
Gen Y gens up to social media risks »
Social media-savvy young people offer a potential emerging
market for online risk insurance cover, according to research from
the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The research shows that
the Generation Y element of the UK population is more conscious of
the inherent risks associated with using social media than its Baby
Boomer and Generation X counterparts and is consequently more
interested in insurance cover to minimise financial loss or
reputation damage.
Small firms' auto-enrolment planning remains “work in progress” - CII »
Almost two-thirds (65%) of the UK's small businesses are no
nearer to enrolling their staff in a workplace pension scheme
required under new legislation [1], according to a new report from
the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) called "Advice Needed!"
[2].
