The CII maintains a specialist collection of print and electronic resources dedicated to insurance, risk, and related financial services. Our print collection is the only one of its kind in the UK and Ireland, and likely holds the largest collection of insurance related print materials in Europe.
Subjects covered include the history of insurance and all classes of insurance, risk management, loss prevention, civil liability, shipping, aviation, pensions, investment and other financial services.
CII membership gives you full access to CII Knowledge Services, including the eLibrary, book lending (in the EU/EEA), copies of articles or chapters, and member-only content in our online knowledge bank at cii.co.uk/knowledge. In all cases access is provided on the understanding that the information and materials made available are for your own personal use. Other membership benefits include the CII's Journal and discounts on other CII publications.

If you are not a member of the CII or PFS, you are still welcome to make an enquiry however, charges may apply to non-members requesting electronic copies or and/or for retrieval of offsite materials. Due to licensing requirements, non-members are not permitted to make use of the electronic or online resources such as specialist databases.
