Welcome to the Insurance Institute of York - the home of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Finance Society in York.

The Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society are the flag bearers of professionalism in both the Insurance and Financial Services professions. Here in York, we have a rich and well respected representation in both professions, from the very largest names, to some of the best smaller brokerage and advisory firms in the region.Our main role as a local Institute is to provide our members with a high quality educational programme which will help them with their ongoing professional duties. We do this by delivering CII/PFS Accredited events on a range of topics, all of which count towards structured CPD and most of which are free to attend. We encourage all members (and non-members who are thinking of joining) to attend our events, not only to increase professional knowledge but as an opportunity to network with fellow professionals.
