CII CPD event accreditation
Overview
CPD event accreditation provides formal recognition of the quality of seminars, presentations, lectures and conferences that cover relevant issues in general insurance or financial services. Events may be ‘classroom-based’ or virtual.
This assists in demonstrating the importance of your event in the development of technical knowledge and competence. It may be awarded where a formal CII review concludes that the event’s content is insurance or financial services related and of a sufficiently high standard to contribute to CII members’ continuing professional development. Events must be free of product bias in order to be eligible for formal recognition.
CII accreditation is not a requirement for participants to claim CII cpd credits. It does, however, provide formal recognition, valuable external benchmarking and tangible business benefits. For details of the CII cpd scheme please visit www.cpd.cii.co.uk.

Quality assurance
CII’s quality assurance process requires that you provide a copy of delegate feedback.
Please note that occasionally CII sends an assessor to an event for which you will receive prior notification.
Once the event has taken place please provide a copy of any documentation provided to delegates.
