Initiatives
Some of the initiatives that we have worked with our partners on are as follows:
- The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong provides a localised and translated CII qualification where successful candidates can become members of the CII and use designatory letters after their name to show their commitment to professionalism and life long learning.
- The Insurance Institute of Hong Kong act as the CII’s partner for the general insurance market in Hong Kong and act as a local liaison support for members and students in the region. They also promote the CII’s Award in General Insurance which can be taken as a stand alone qualification or as an alternative to the CII’s Certificate in Insurance paper IF1. The Award in General Insurance provides principles of international insurance and regulation as opposed to IF1's coverage of UK specific regulation.
- The Singapore College of Insurance provides a fast-track route to achieve the CII’s Advanced Diploma in Insurance through their Insurance Executive Programme.
- TR Training and Consulting Ltd promote the CII locally in Thailand and offer the CII’s Award in General Insurance as well as the Certificate in Insurance for local candidates.
