Nominations Committee

The Nominations Committee (“Noms”) is a formally constituted committee of the board and its purpose is to :

• give full consideration to the succession planning of the CII’s board and committees.
• ensure that the processes used in governance appointments are consistent with good practice.

The committee membership is an independent chairman assisted by the President and Deputy President of the Institute and a Board member selected from the Local Institute Regional Constituency members of the Representative Council.

Robin Jordan is the current independent chairman of the committee. He is immediate Past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and an Assessor of Scottish Ministerial Public Appointments. He runs a small management and HR consulting practice from Glasgow. Robin was first appointed in 2007 and is eligible for re-election at the AGM in 2010.

David Sales FCII, Chartered Insurance Broker, is the board member from the Local Institute constituencies.
