The CII maintains a strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa, and continues to work closely with regional partners and leading regulators.

Initiatives

Work with local regulators such as the CBB & QFC  to introduce minimum standards of entry into the market. These programmes are tailored to include international regulatory best practice & to provide a benchmark standard of knowledge for insurance personnel across the region.

• Support the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance across the Gulf region in its delivery of a pathway to the Advanced Diploma for Arabic practitioners.
• Further Develop the Principles of Takaful unit in conjunction with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance.  This forms part of the CII's Advanced Diploma in Insurance, and is available in both English and Arabic.
• Strengthen our presence across the region through existing and new partnerships with leading training providers.
