Hello and welcome to the Chelmsford and South Essex CII

I returned to the CII four years ago after almost a two decade break.  I was greeted with a very warm welcome at a Women's forum and soon joined the local Council.  In the last year when I became Deputy President, I made it my duty to find out more about the CII and have consistently found dedicated professionals both within Central CII and local councils.

I am very proud to have been invited to step up for the coming year and would like to thank Samantha Lord and our incredible council for all that we achieved last year.

In 2022 we made huge progress in getting in to a rhythm to support our members in the new hybrid world.  This year we will continue with all of that great work (showcasing at careers fairs, working with our Young Professionals Group, ED&I and Women's forums to name a few) and we will seek to provide even more interactive CPD and networking sessions both Live-online and face to face to recreate a local community of PFS and CII Professionals. We are looking for members to step up and share in our newsletter or offer a talk or workshop and so if you have knowledge or skills that you would like to share with the local CII community then please get in touch.   My charity for this year is Little Havens who support my sister and my nephew Axel who has a rare genetic condition and I am grateful for your help in raising funds for this much needed hospice.
