Local institutes

There are currently 61 local institutes across the UK, plus 7 associated institutes in the Republic of Ireland.

If you become a member of the CII in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, you also join a local institute, usually in the area where you work. The network of local institutes offers a useful contact point, education advice, CPD seminars and social events. To find out more of what your local institute has to offer, visit the local institute portal, then simply choose your institute. You'll find information and events at your fingertips.

Members ‘join’ the local institute of their choice - usually that closest to their place of employment. In addition to being a useful local contact point the network of local Institutes offer education advice, CPD seminars and social events.
