CII CPD Accreditation of Events
Overview
CII provides Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation for Events such as seminars and conferences.
CPD Accreditation assists in demonstrating the importance of your Event in the development of insurance technical knowledge and competence. CII Continuing Professional Development Accreditation can be provided if CII assessment shows that the Event content is insurance and financial services related and of a sufficiently high standard to contribute to CII members with a CII continuing professional development requirement.
CPD Event Accreditation can therefore be considered for all events which cover relevant issues in both general insurance and financial services.
Value of CII CPD Accreditation of Events
The benefits of achieving CII CPD Accreditation for Events include:
- Assists in demonstrating the value of attending your event to potential delegates
- Provides confirmation of the commitment to training & competency of your organisation which can be a useful tool in achieving business objectives
- Provides evidence of continuing professional development for CII members
- Details of your event can be listed on the CII website to raise the profile of your event.
CII will issue you with the following wording which you can use on advertising or literature for the accredited event:
‘This event has been accredited by the CII and can be included as part of your CII CPD requirement should you consider it relevant to your professional development needs’.
